In a shocking incident of daytime theft, two thieves snatched a mobile phone from a 10-year-old child inside his own house in Chhapeti Para locality of Bari town, Dholpur district, Rajasthan. The entire act was captured on CCTV, exposing the rising boldness of criminals in residential neighborhoods.

How the Incident Happened

The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon, when Pradeep Sharma’s 10-year-old son was sitting near a window inside their house playing a game on his mobile phone. Two thieves entered the street, and noticing it was deserted, one of them entered the house through the window, snatched the mobile from the child’s hands, and escaped. The other thief kept watch outside.

The boy ran after the thieves, but they managed to flee within seconds.

The entire act was recorded by the home’s CCTV cameras. The footage clearly shows the two suspects wandering through the street, scouting the area, and then executing the crime. One thief enters through the window while the other remains outside. In a matter of seconds, they flee the scene with the mobile phone.

Police Complaint Filed

The child’s father, Pradeep Sharma, lodged a formal complaint at the Kotwali police station. Police have seized the CCTV footage and are working to identify and apprehend the suspects.

This incident has sparked fear and concern among local residents, who are now demanding increased patrolling by the police, especially during daytime hours when homes may be more vulnerable.
