How is blind cricket played?

Blind cricket uses a special plastic ball with a small metal ball inside that makes a sound when it moves. Players identify the ball’s direction using this sound.

Players are divided into three categories:

  • B1: Totally blind
  • B2: Very low vision
  • B3: Some vision

Bowling is under-arm, and a runner is on the field alongside the B1 batsman. Runs scored by the runner are counted as two runs.
