Jaipur, Rajasthan – A wave of sorrow swept across the Kshatriya community as senior mentor and former chief of Shri Kshatriya Yuvak Sangh, Bhagwan Singh Rolsahabsar, passed away late Thursday night at Jaipur’s SMS Hospital. He was 80 years old and had been under treatment for multiple organ failure. He had been on a ventilator due to severely weakened kidneys and other organs.
His mortal remains have been kept at Sangh Shakti Bhawan in Jaipur for public tributes. The last rites will be performed today at 4 PM at the cremation ground near Lata Circle, Jhotwara.
Decades of Service and Social Leadership
Born on February 2, 1944, in Rolsahabsar village, Sikar, he was the fifth child of Megh Singh and Gom Kanwar. His lifelong dedication to cultural values, discipline, and youth empowerment was the backbone of his leadership within the Sangh.
He joined Shri Kshatriya Yuvak Sangh in 1963, inspired by its founding vision of uniting the Rajput community under the guidance of Tan Singhji, who established the Sangh in 1944 in Pilani. Bhagwan Singh attended his first training camp in Ratangarh and soon became a committed volunteer.
In October 1989, he was appointed as the Sangh Pramukh (Chief) and remained in that role until 2021, after which he continued as mentor and guardian. Over the years, he led more than 500 camps, organized youth training programs, and launched various initiatives including Shri Pratap Foundation to bridge the gap between political representatives and the community.
He lived at the Gramya Alokayan Ashram in Barmer and actively hosted camps teaching youth the importance of duty, character, and cultural roots. Prominent leaders like Sachin Pilot and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat had also visited his camps.
Spiritual Connect and Legacy
Rolsahabsar was deeply influenced by Swami Adgadanandji Maharaj, proponent of “Yatharth Geeta,” and worked to propagate spiritual values across India.
His demise has prompted tributes from a wide political spectrum. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, former CM Ashok Gehlot, Deputy CM Diya Kumari, and several other leaders have expressed their deep condolences. Diya Kumari personally visited the Sangh office to pay her respects.
Bhagwan Singh Rolsahabsar’s contribution will continue to inspire generations committed to service, tradition, and leadership without political ambition.
