Varanasi , Uttar Pradesh – In a disturbing incident from Rajatalab in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi district, a minor Muslim girl has come forward with grave allegations, raising serious concerns about law and order while exposing deep-seated issues of intolerance in society. The girl, who identified herself as Khushi, alleged that a young man disguised as a Kanwariya attempted to assault her, sparking outrage in the community.
According to Khushi, a student, she was studying alone at her family’s shop while her brother was away. In a chilling account shared via a video that has since gone viral on social media, she recounted the ordeal: “I was preparing for a test when a man dressed in saffron attire entered the shop unnoticed. He suddenly exposed himself and tried to force himself on me.”Khushi further described her desperate attempt to escape: “I resisted, but he slapped me and attacked my back. I called out to my grandmother, who tried to intervene but was also assaulted.
I managed to flee to the street, where my uncle came to my rescue. His intention was to rape me.”The aftermath of the incident escalated tensions in the area. Reports claim that a mob of Kanwariyas retaliated by attacking Khushi’s home, engaging in vandalism and arson. The situation grew so volatile that the crowd reportedly surrounded the local police station, demanding that a bulldozer be used to demolish the victim’s house. The viral video shows Khushi pleading for justice, amplifying calls for swift action.
