Usha Vance was seen at an official event while visiting Camp Lejeune military base in North Carolina with First Lady Melania Trump. Her left hand was completely bare, meaning there was no wedding ring. These photos went viral on social media, rekindling rumors of tension in the marriage.

Following these discussions, Usha responded as a spokesperson told the BBC. He stated that:

• Usha is a mother of three children.
• She is busy all day with household responsibilities like caring for the children and washing dishes.
• Sometimes she forgets her ring, which doesn’t mean their relationship has weakened.

This isn’t the first time questions have been raised about JD and Usha’s marriage:

• On November 10th, they both visited Walter Reed National Military Medical Center—Usha wasn’t wearing a ring that day either.
• Previously, JD had said in a statement that he would like Usha, who is Hindu, to convert to Christianity and raise the children in the Christian faith.
