
Karauli, June 11 — Suroth police successfully solved a two-month-old theft case in Khanaka village by arresting two suspects and recovering 100 grams of gold, 300 grams of silver jewelry, and a mobile phone.
According to Additional SP Satyendra Pal Singh, the arrests were made under the leadership of SHO Mahesh Chand Meena. The accused — Sumer alias Suresh Babaria and Mamaraj Babaria — are residents of Baswa Gothda village in Udaipurwati, Jhunjhunu. They had temporarily set up camp near Khanaka village.
Constable Vijendra Kumar was deployed undercover near the area to monitor the suspects. Based on their movements and gathered intelligence, both accused were apprehended and confessed during interrogation.
The original complaint was filed by Jagdish Gurjar, who reported the theft of ₹1.2 lakh in cash along with gold and silver ornaments. The investigation team also included ASI Vibhishan, Ramraj, Rakesh Kumar, and Constable Vijendra.
