Dholpur/ Karauli : A very tragic incident has occurred in the Sapotra area. Roop Singh, a resident of Bhagirathpura, had gone to visit Machchh Kund in Dholpur with his son, Shivraj. It is reported that while bathing in Mach Kund, Shivraj was suddenly grabbed by a crocodile and pulled into the water. Roop Singh also jumped into the water to save his son, but was swept away by the crocodile’s attack.
The police and forest department were immediately informed of the incident. After much effort, the rescue team began searching for Roop Singh. An atmosphere of mourning prevails at the scene, and the entire area is filled with grief.

It is reported that shortly before the accident, Roop Singh had shared a post on social media, in which he wrote, “Bathing in Mach Kund, Dholpur, cures skin diseases.”Unfortunately, this tragic incident occurred at the same location.
This incident is a lesson for everyone: take caution before bathing in any pond, pool, or river. Avoid bathing in areas where wildlife, especially crocodiles, is a threat.
