RCB vs MI LIVE

Raipur: The 54th match of IPL 2026 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium has reached a fever pitch. Chasing 167 for victory, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) need 36 runs off the final 24 deliveries. The momentum has swung back toward Mumbai Indians after Corbin Bosch dismissed Jitesh Sharma and Tim David on consecutive deliveries, putting himself on the verge of a historic hat-trick.

Mumbai’s Innings: Tilak and Naman Lead the Recovery

Earlier, Mumbai Indians struggled after being put in to bat. Bhuvneshwar Kumar wrecked the top order, removing Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav early, leaving Mumbai reeling at 28/3.

However, Naman Dhir (47) and Tilak Varma (57) stitched together a resilient 82-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Their steady batting helped Mumbai post a competitive total of 166/7 in 20 overs. For RCB, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the standout performer with the ball, finishing with exceptional figures of 4/23.

The Chase: Can RCB Cross the Line?

While RCB looked comfortable during the middle overs, the quick wickets of Jitesh Sharma and Tim David have added immense pressure to the chase. With set batters back in the pavilion, the responsibility now falls on Romario Shepherd and Krunal Pandya to take Bengaluru home.

Match Equation:

  • RCB require: 36 runs in 24 balls.
  • Key Factors: Corbin Boschโ€™s hat-trick ball and Jasprit Bumrahโ€™s remaining overs.
