Khushboo Rajpurohit, a young woman from Rajasthan’s Sirohi district, had just been married five months ago in January 2025. Her husband, Vishal Rajpurohit, works and resides in London. Due to visa and logistical delays, Khushboo had not yet met him in person after marriage.

Finally, the long-awaited moment had arrived. On June 12, she boarded Air India flight AI-171 to London, her heart full of dreams and excitement. But fate had other plans. Just after takeoff from Ahmedabad, the flight crashed, claiming over 200 lives – including Khushboo’s.

Family in Mourning:

Her father, a school teacher, shared that she had high hopes for building a new life abroad. “She was full of joy and energy,” he said, breaking down. “She had never been on an international flight before.”

The family was informed shortly after the crash. Her mother and sisters are in shock, with the entire village grieving the tragic loss.
