Rajasthan PTET 2026 Results Declared: Kartik and Jaiprakash Share the Top Spot, Results Out in Just 10 Days

Jaipur. The results for the Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) 2026, conducted for admissions into 944 B.Ed. colleges across Rajasthan, were officially declared on Thursday. Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Higher & Technical Education, Dr. Premchand Bairwa, released the highly anticipated results during an event in Jaipur.
This year, the responsibility of conducting the PTET examination was entrusted to Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota. Showcasing exceptional administrative efficiency and successful execution, the university set a remarkable record by publishing the results within just 10 days of the examination.
PTET-2026 Toppers List
According to the details shared by Mr. Vikram Rathore, the entrance exam witnessed fierce competition among candidates. The list of the top scorers is as follows:
- First Position (Joint Winners): Kartik Kumar Garg from Bharatpur and Jaiprakash Bisu from Churu jointly secured the first position across the state by scoring an impressive 509 out of 600 marks.
- Second Position: Manoj Nagda from Udaipur bagged the second spot with a score of 508 out of 600 marks.
- Third Position: Yuvraj from Nagaur captured the third rank by scoring 507 out of 600 marks.
Immediately after declaring the results, Deputy CM Dr. Premchand Bairwa personally spoke to the toppers over a mobile call, extending his hearty congratulations and wishing them a bright future.
Paving the Way for Youth through Employment-Oriented Education
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy CM Dr. Premchand Bairwa emphasized that the state government’s welfare initiatives are actively encouraging the youth through quality teaching and training programs, thereby paving the way for their employment. He expressed confidence that all the successful candidates entering the B.Ed. program through PTET-2026 will play a crucial role in nation-building as ideal and dedicated teachers.
Dr. Bairwa specifically congratulated the entire VMOU team, Vice-Chancellor Prof. B.L. Verma, and the PTET Coordinator for their “Good Governance” in delivering the results so swiftly and transparently. He reiterated the state government’s continuous commitment to promoting innovation, quality, and transparency in the higher education sector.

Addressing the gathering, VMOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. B.L. Verma stated that the state government places the highest priority on quality education and teacher training. “Our primary objective is to build an ideal education system in the state that enriches students not just with academic knowledge, but with essential skills and moral values,” he said. He urged the future educators to establish themselves as role models in society.
Dignitaries Present at the Event: The result declaration ceremony was attended by Chief Coordinator and Vice-Chancellor Prof. B.L. Verma, PTET Coordinator Prof. Shamta Chaudhary, Dr. Sandeep Hooda, Dr. Akbar Ali, along with other university officials, staff members, and media personnel.
