Her father, Prabhu Yadav, was a milk vendor, and the family lived in a very modest financial condition. They resided in a small room behind a shop. Radha’s cricket journey began when her coach, Prashant Shelat, noticed her playing in a street and decided to train her. She started playing cricket at the age of just 13–14. Her passion and dedication to the game led her to the Baroda women’s cricket team, from where her career progressed further. Her outstanding performance in domestic cricket earned her a place in the national team.

Radha Yadav began playing professional domestic cricket in 2015. Through hard work and performance, she was selected for the Indian team in February 2018 for the T20 International series against South Africa.
