PTET & Integrated Course Exam Held Peacefully in Karauli with Biometric Attendance

The Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota, successfully conducted the Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) and integrated course exams (BA-B.Ed/B.Sc-B.Ed) on Sunday across Karauli district. The examination was conducted from 11 AM to 2 PM in a single shift across 23 designated centers.

According to District Coordinator Dr. Jamuna Lal Meena, 16 centers in Karauli city were allocated for the 2-year PTET program, with 4,493 candidates registered. In Hindaun, 7 centers were prepared for the 4-year integrated courses, where 2,079 students had enrolled.

Out of 6,572 total registered candidates, 5,880 appeared for the exam, while 692 were absent. Notably, face recognition and biometric attendance were used to verify candidates, enhancing transparency and exam security.

Strict security arrangements were enforced at all centers with constant monitoring by police and administrative flying squads. No incidents of malpractice or irregularities were reported, and the exam concluded smoothly.
