New Delhi: President Draupadi Murmu attended the fifth convocation of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Delhi, as the chief guest. Addressing the students, President Murmu said that the measure of true progress is not just technological innovation, but also its positive impact on society. She urged students to use their knowledge and technological capabilities to bring about real change in society.

The President said, “Our developed systems, technologies, and solutions should reduce inequalities and lead to positive change in society.” She also emphasized that true success is achieved only when technological advances bring new hope and possibilities to people’s lives.

At the ceremony, the President urged students to think and work not only for themselves, but also for the country and society. She also emphasized the crucial role of young engineers in maintaining India’s leading position in the field of science and technology.

Furthermore, the President commended NIT Delhi for its success, calling it a role model for student development.
