The Governor and Chancellor, Mr. Haribhau Bagde, visited the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University on Tuesday to inaugurate several key projects aimed at strengthening student welfare and campus infrastructure. Review of Construction: ‘Deadline’ for the Auditorium

Governor Bagde held a meeting with officials from the Rajasthan State Road Development and Construction Corporation (RSRDC) to inspect the progress of the under-construction auditorium and sports complex. He issued clear instructions:

• Completion by September: The auditorium must be completed by September to eliminate the unnecessary expense of erecting temporary domes for university events.
• Timeliness and Quality: A fixed schedule should be created for construction works with regular review meetings to ensure projects are finished within the stipulated timeframe.

Emphasis on Education and Research

During the university review meeting, the Chancellor provided vital guidelines regarding academic excellence:

1. New Education Policy (NEP): He emphasized the effective implementation of the NEP to foster research and innovation.
2. Excellence Standards: He stated that the university must establish benchmarks in education that ensure the holistic development of students.
