Karauli, Rajasthan – Police action in the online gaming betting case is steadily intensifying in the district. Following the arrest of four individuals in Hindaun, police conducted a major raid on the residence of Aminuddin, the son of the former Karauli Municipal Council Chairperson and the main accused.
A large number of armed police personnel and senior officers were present at the scene. Hindaun DSP Munesh Kumar stated that four individuals were arrested in Hindaun as part of the previous police action in the online gaming betting case.
As part of the investigation, police raided the residence of Rashida Khatoon, the former Karauli Municipal Council Chairperson, in the Nadi Darwaza and Dholi Khar areas of Karauli. This raid followed the arrest of the former Chairperson’s son, Aminuddin Khan.
The raid lasted for over an hour. During the investigation, armed police teams from approximately seven to eight police stations in the Karauli and Hindaun regions conducted a joint investigation. The residence of the main accused and betting kingpin, Aminuddin Khan, and the hideouts of several of his associates were also searched.
Police seized important documents, CCTV DVRs, and other material from two of Aminuddin Khan’s residences. Residents in the vicinity were also questioned.During the operation, a large number of police officers and staff, including DSP Meena Meena, DSP Munesh Kumar Meena, DSP Anuj Shubham, Hindaun Sadar Police Station Officer Purushottam, and Karauli Sadar Police Station Officer Yaduveer Singh, were present.
According to police officials, this online gaming network is being thoroughly investigated, and further action is likely to continue.
Police exposed the online betting network and arrested Rajesh Sharma, Prashant Sharma, and Shoaib from Khedliyan Ka Pura on charges of operating online betting rackets on cricket matches.
After interrogating the three accused, police also arrested online betting kingpin Aminuddin from Karauli. The police had seized 6 mobile phones, betting accounts worth Rs 18 lakh and other equipment from the accused.
