The meeting focused on a detailed evaluation of various departmental schemes, administrative efficiency, and the progress of critical development projects across the district.

Zero Tolerance for Negligence: Notices Issued

During the session, District Collector Godara took a stern stance against administrative laxity and absenteeism:

  • Dereliction of Duty: Aniruddh Sharma, Assistant Director of Womenโ€™s Empowerment, was also issued a notice for negligence in executing departmental tasks.

Focus on Budget Implementation and Public Grievances

The Collector reviewed the progress of state budget announcements point-by-point, instructing officials to accelerate implementation and meet strictly defined deadlines. Key areas of focus included:

  • Public Grievance Redressal: A comprehensive review of complaints on the Sampark Portal, the Chief Minister’s Office, and the Human Rights Commission was conducted. The Collector mandated that all grievances, especially those pending for over 90 days, be resolved with high-quality solutions.
  • Infrastructure & Utilities:
    • Electricity: Directions were given to tighten loose wires and ensure an uninterrupted power supply.
    • Water: The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) was told to ensure seamless water delivery and timely repair of handpumps.
    • Roads: The Superintending Engineer of the PWD was directed to complete road construction and development projects according to the fixed action plan.

Transparency Through Digitalization

The meeting emphasized the effective use of the E-File system to enhance transparency and efficiency in administrative processes. Collector Godara urged all district-level officers to process the maximum amount of work digitally to ensure accountability and speed up decision-making.

Conclusion

The weekly review underscores the district administration’s commitment to proactive governance. By holding officials accountable and setting firm deadlines for infrastructure and public complaints, the Karauli administration aims to ensure that the benefits of state schemes reach the common citizen without delay.
