Sapotra (Karauli): In the Sapotra police station area, police have arrested the absconding accused in connection with the suspicious death of a young woman following a rape incident that took place seven days ago. The accused has been identified as Dharmraj Meena, a resident of Jaitpur under Gangapur police station.
The incident came to light after the victim’s father filed a report at the police station, stating that his daughter had been raped, after which she died. Given the seriousness of the matter, the police promptly began an investigation.
Under the direction of the Superintendent of Police, Station Officer Dharasingh Meena and his team were continuously searching for the accused. Acting on a tip-off from an informant, the police team detained and arrested the accused, Dharmraj Meena (19), son of Shivraj Meena, from his village Jaitpur, under Sadar Gangapur City police station, Sawai Madhopur district.
The police team included constables Murarilal, Bharatlal, and Satish. Currently, the police are interrogating the accused, and further investigation is ongoing. The police have assured that the case will be investigated fairly and strictly, and appropriate action will be taken.
