Born on September 14, 1997, Jyoti Shri Mahato comes from a small rural background. Her father, Dashrath Mahato, is a government accountant, and her mother, a typical housewife. The home environment is quite simple, but her dreams have always been big.

Jyoti has two sisters—one of whom teaches in a private school. While the family may be rural-minded, everyone has always supported Jyoti in her YouTube journey.

From TikTok to YouTube

Jyoti Shri Mahato started with TikTok. She used to make dance videos and occasionally share recipes. But after TikTok was banned in 2020, she looked for a new platform.

Meanwhile, she reactivated her YouTube channel, created on February 1, 2019, and gradually began posting content. Food recipes became her primary focus. Later, she began lifestyle vlogging, which gave her a distinct identity.

Manoj Dey, a well-known rural YouTuber from Dhanbad, played a key role in growing Jyoti’s channel. During 2020–21, she appeared several times on Manoj Dey’s vlogs, which helped viewers get to know Jyoti.By June 2021, her channel had reached 82,000 subscribers.
