Ajmer, Rajasthan. A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in the Christian Ganj police station area of Ajmer, where a 65-year-old retired railway employee committed the crime of raping an innocent 5-year-old girl. The incident took place on the night of Sunday, June 29, 2025, when the girl’s parents left her at the house of their neighboring elderly couple and went to attend a religious event. The accused, whom the innocent used to call “Uncle”, took advantage of the opportunity and committed this heinous act. The police have registered a case against the accused under several sections including the POCSO Act and started investigation.
What is the whole matter?
According to the information, on Sunday night, the parents of the victim girl left her at the house of an elderly couple living in their neighborhood, who were their friends. After some time, the wife of the elderly couple also left the house to attend a religious event. During this time the girl was left alone in the house, and the 65-year-old accused took advantage of this opportunity and raped the innocent. Crushing the innocence and trust of the girl, this cunning old man carried out this incident that shamed humanity.
The girl narrated her ordeal, the family reached the police station
When the girl’s parents returned from the event, the girl, crying, informed her mother about the brutality done to her. Hearing this, the family was shocked. They immediately reached Christian Ganj police station and informed the police about the incident. The police took immediate action and got the girl medically examined and called the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team to the spot and collected evidence.
Police registered a case
Christian Ganj police station’s Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Kishan Singh said that a case has been registered against the accused under sections 65/2, 75/2 and 3/4 of the Indian Penal Code (BNS) as well as the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act. A case has been registered under FIR number 221/25, and police are conducting raids to arrest the accused. Further action will be taken based on the medical report and FSL investigation.
