The newly elected body of the District Jatav Social Reform Committee, Karauli, is all set to officially take charge. A grand oath-taking ceremony has been scheduled for Sunday, May 17, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM at Kevaldash Bagichi (near the Overbridge) in Hindaun City. During the event, an administrative official will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the incoming leadership.


Preparations Underway: Meeting at Jatav Hostel

To finalize the arrangements for the ceremony, a strategic meeting was held today, May 4, at the committee’s central office located in the Jatav Hostel. The members discussed logistics and outreach strategies to ensure maximum participation from the community. The committee emphasized that the ceremony would serve as a platform to showcase the unity and organized strength of the community.

The New Leadership Team

Mr. Hattiram Thekedar will formally take his oath as the President. Joining him in the new executive council are:

  • General Secretary: Mr. Shivcharan
  • Treasurer: Mr. Rameshwar Yadav
  • Spokesperson: Mr. Rinku Kheri Haibat
  • Youth President: Mr. Hariom Thekedar
  • Publicity Minister: Mr. Omprakash Suman
  • Additional Executives: Mr. Chandrabhan Thekedar (Deputy Treasurer), Mr. Naresh Thekedar (Deputy Secretary), and Mr. Harilal (Tehsil President, Masalpur).

Presence of Prominent Social Leaders

The ceremony is expected to be attended by several distinguished members of society, including Retired District Education Officer Mr. Ramkishan Jatav, Mr. Ramesh Chand Salodia, Mr. Mahesh Dharamsingh, and Mr. Laxman Prasad Bauddh. Other prominent representatives from Wazirpur, Mahua, Gangapur, Suroth, and Hindaun will also be present to grace the occasion.

Focus on Empowerment and Education

Committee Spokesperson Rinku Kheri Haibat highlighted that the core objective of the committee’s new tenure is to prioritize social upliftment, enhance educational opportunities for the youth, and fortify the organizational structure of the community. He urged all community members to arrive at the venue by 10:00 AM on May 17 to witness this pivotal moment for the society.
