JAIPUR: In a significant move to boost morale and recognize exceptional investigative work, the Rajasthan Police Crime Branch has felicitated seven dedicated police personnel. Showcasing a perfect blend of ground-level human intelligence and advanced cyber tracking, these officers have been awarded cash prizes totaling ₹60,000 along with official commendation certificates.

According to the official orders issued by the Additional Director General of Police (ADG), Crime Branch, Bipin Kumar Pandey, the honors have been divided into two major operational successes: tracking down a highly wanted murder suspect who had been evading arrest for years, and a massive inter-state operation to recover stolen mobile phones.

Operation 1: The End of a 5-Year Manhunt for a Notorious Killer

The first major achievement relates to a sensational criminal case dating back to 2021. The prime suspect, Ramniwas (son of Ranaram Vishnoi), a resident of Pipar in Jodhpur district, had been on the run for his involvement in a high-profile murder. The police had announced a cash bounty of ₹50,000 for information leading to his capture.

Relying on an airtight informant network and relentless field tracking, a special team finally laid a trap and apprehended the fugitive.

To honor this courageous operation, a total cash reward of ₹50,000 was distributed among the five key officers involved. The highest individual reward was granted to a female constable from Chittorgarh:

Operation 2: Cyber Experts Trace Stolen Phones Across 6 States

The second commendation highlights the sheer power of modern digital policing. Personnel stationed at the Cyber Cell in the Didwana-Kuchaman district executed a flawless technical operation using the Central Government’s CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register) portal.

The cyber team cast a wide digital net, tracking down lost and stolen mobile phones not just within Rajasthan, but across six other states: Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. Following the successful recovery, the devices were safely returned to their rightful owners.

For executing this stellar digital rescue mission, two cyber cell experts were honored with a cash prize of ₹5,000 each, alongside letters of appreciation:

  • Prem Prakash (Assistant Sub-Inspector – ASI), Cyber Cell
  • Nisha Kanwar (Female Constable), Cyber Cell

Leadership’s Take: Inspiring the Force

Praising the dedication of the force, ADG Bipin Kumar Pandey stated that formally recognizing the outstanding work of field officers and technical teams significantly boosts the morale of the entire police department.

“Such felicitations serve as a strong inspiration for other personnel to perform their duties with utmost honesty and vigilance. The Rajasthan Police will continue to encourage and reward officers who go above and beyond the call of duty,” ADG Pandey remarked.
