In a crackdown on illegal cattle transportation, Kaithwara Police in Deeg district arrested a man attempting to smuggle bulls to Haryana for slaughter. Two women accompanying him managed to escape when police arrived at the scene. A search is underway to locate them.

Sub-Inspector Vijaypal stated that a police patrol team received a tip-off about individuals transporting bulls in buggies from Daudadi to Piplakhera. Acting swiftly, the police intercepted the suspects. Upon seeing the police, the three individuals tried to flee into the nearby forest.

One man was caught after a short chase. He identified himself as Ikram, a resident of Mehal, Meerut district (Uttar Pradesh). During interrogation, he confessed to collecting stray bulls and transporting them to slaughterhouses in Haryana, where he earns between ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per animal.

The bulls were rescued and sent to a local cowshed. Authorities are continuing the investigation to locate the absconding women and uncover the full extent of the smuggling network.
