The Mandrayal police in Karauli district have arrested a man with two stolen motorcycles in a major crackdown on bike theft. The accused, identified as Vikas Meena, was involved in buying and reselling stolen two-wheelers.

One of the stolen bikes, which had been stolen from Mahesh Nagar in Jaipur on June 8, 2025, was tracked through a GPS device. The location led police to Khandepura area in Mandrayal, where the GPS-fitted motorcycle was found inside a shed. Along with it, an unnumbered motorcycle with a broken handle lock was also recovered.

Following this, the police arrested Vikas Meena near Lohwa petrol pump. During interrogation, he confessed that he had purchased a Splendor bike from Monty Rawat on May 26 for ₹7,000 and an Apache bike from Monty Meena on June 8 for ₹13,000. He admitted he was aware the vehicles were stolen.

The operation was conducted under the leadership of Station House Officer Omprakash, along with his team. Both bikes have been seized, and efforts are underway to trace Monty Rawat and Monty Meena. The investigation could potentially uncover a larger organized bike theft network.
