Drinking Water Security: It will ensure the availability of clean and safe drinking water for millions of families across the targeted districts.

Boost to Agriculture and Employment: The agricultural and animal husbandry sectors will receive a massive boost, generating new and diverse employment opportunities in both rural and urban areas.

The Triumph of a ‘Double Engine’ Government

Chief Minister Sharma credited this historic achievement to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the effective guidance of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and the excellent coordination between the central and state governments.

He remarked that the “double-engine government” has once again proven that when public welfare is the supreme priority, even the most complex issues pending for three decades can be resolved amicably and positively. During the briefing, he also highly appreciated the technical guidance and administrative support provided by Union Minister of Jal Shakti, C.R. Patil.

Stepping Towards a Developed Rajasthan-2047

Aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat-2047’ (Developed India 2047), the Chief Minister emphasized that water security is a fundamental pillar of nation-building. He noted that water is not just the basis of life, but the most crucial resource for maintaining social and environmental balance.

He assured the people of the state that the Rajasthan government is fully committed to implementing this ambitious project on the ground in a time-bound manner and with the highest quality standards. Every phase of the project will undergo regular, high-level reviews to ensure that its benefits reach the common man at the earliest.

Conclusion: The Yamuna Water Agreement is set to emerge as a new current of development, prosperity, and happiness for Rajasthan in the coming years. This monumental investment of ₹34,102 crore will liberate future generations from the shackles of water scarcity, proving to be the cornerstone in building a self-reliant and water-secure Rajasthan.

He stated that as public servants, administrative officers must fulfill their responsibilities towards both their workplace and their motherland. He emphasized that their true success lies in ensuring that the direct benefits of government welfare schemes reach the most needy individuals in a timely manner.

All-Round Development in Rajasthan Over 2.5 Years

Highlighting the state’s progress, the Chief Minister noted that over the past two and a half years, the state government has worked on a robust roadmap for the comprehensive development of Rajasthan. Several major projects are being executed on the ground to ensure the supply of basic necessities like electricity and water to the general public. Additionally, positive policy reforms have been implemented to promote industries, continuously creating new local employment opportunities for the youth.

Successful Candidates Share Their Experiences

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma officially launched the National Pulse Polio Campaign in the state on Sunday, taking a significant step toward safeguarding the health and well-being of the younger generation. Inaugurating the massive immunization drive at the Chief Minister’s residence in Jaipur, he personally administered oral polio drops to young children. This state-wide initiative underscores the government’s unwavering commitment to securing a disease-free future for the next generation, ensuring that the crippling disease remains completely eradicated from the country.

During the inaugural event, the Chief Minister highlighted that the only effective and proven prevention against a severe disease like polio is timely and consistent vaccination. He delivered a strong message to the public, warning that even a slight negligence or complacency could adversely impact a child’s future. He passionately appealed to all parents, guardians, and community leaders to visit their nearest vaccination booths and ensure their children under five receive the vital ‘two drops of life’. Bringing smiles to the young faces present at the launch, the Chief Minister also distributed chocolates to the children immediately after administering the drops, creating a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere for the families.

Poster Launch and Strict Directives to the Health Department

Marking the beginning of the campaign, CM Sharma unveiled the official awareness poster themed ‘Do boond har baar polio par jeet rahe barkarar’ (Two drops every time, maintaining victory over polio). He issued clear and strict directives to the top officials of the Medical and Health Department to ensure that the campaign achieves 100 percent coverage. He stressed that not a single eligible child in the state should be left behind, regardless of their geographical location. Under this strategic campaign, children up to five years of age will receive the drops at designated booths on the first day (June 28). To ensure total coverage, this will be followed by an intensive door-to-door vaccination drive conducted by dedicated health teams over the subsequent two days.

Massive Mobilization: Over 1 Crore Children to be Covered

The three-day statewide campaign, scheduled to run from June 28 to June 30, targets an estimated 1.04 crore children across Rajasthan’s diverse landscape. To facilitate this massive logistical exercise and reach every corner of the state, the health department has established a sprawling network of 59,217 polio booths. Furthermore, a total of 75,232 dedicated teams, comprising trained health workers, ASHA Sahyoginis, and Anganwadi workers, have been deployed. Recognizing the challenges of vaccinating children in transit and reaching nomadic communities or those living in remote desert areas, the state has uniquely mobilized 7,011 transit teams and 9,004 mobile teams, who will remain actively on duty at railway stations, bus stands, and major highways.

Sustaining India’s 15-Year Polio-Free Streak

The significance of this campaign is amplified by the fact that India has successfully prevented any new polio cases for the past 15 years. The country’s relentless public health efforts were globally recognized when the World Health Organization (WHO) officially awarded India its polio-free certification on March 27, 2014. Maintaining this status requires continuous vigilance, making campaigns like this absolutely crucial. The prestigious launch event in Jaipur was attended by Minister of State for Energy (Independent Charge) Heeralal Nagar, Additional Chief Secretary to the CM Akhil Arora, Principal Secretary of the Medical and Health Department Gayatri Rathore, along with several other senior administrative officials, healthcare professionals, and enthusiastic parents.

Conclusion: The successful launch of the Pulse Polio campaign by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma marks a crucial milestone in the state’s ongoing public health initiatives. With extensive preparations by the health department, grassroot-level mobilization, and active public participation, the Rajasthan government is fully equipped to ensure that every child remains permanently safeguarded against the threat of polio, keeping the nation’s proud polio-free legacy intact.

Furthermore, he directed officials to ensure that the ongoing lift irrigation schemes are finished within the stipulated timeframe. The government’s vision is to ensure that the actual benefits of these projects reach the farmers, enabling adequate water supply for agriculture and irrigation even in high-altitude and difficult terrains.

Commitment to Farmers’ Interests and Inter-Departmental Coordination

The Chief Minister reassured that the state government is fully committed to protecting the interests of farmers, ensuring the proper management of water resources, and driving the balanced development of the entire region. He instructed all relevant departments to work in close coordination and harmony, ensuring that all decisions taken during the meeting are implemented effectively and within the set deadlines.

This crucial review meeting was attended by key state officials, including Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, Additional Chief Secretary of the Water Resources Department Abhay Kumar, and Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister’s Office Akhil Arora.

Conclusion: The review meeting chaired by the Chief Minister regarding the Panchana Dam is a significant and positive development for the farmers of the region. In a high-level meeting held at his residence in Jaipur on Saturday, the Chief Minister issued clear instructions to officials, stating that the objective of these camps is not just to provide immediate relief, but to ensure permanent solutions to public grievances. He placed special emphasis on addressing issues related to road infrastructure, water supply, electricity, and healthcare with urgency.

Strict Action Against Negligence

During the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized that the fundamental purpose of these service camps is to provide relief to the common man. To streamline the process, he has ordered the preparation of district-wise lists for both new and pending cases. Additionally, orders have been issued to prioritize the disposal of long-pending revenue matters, ensuring that villagers do not face unnecessary hardships.

‘VB-G Ram Ji’ Mission to Launch on July 1

A key highlight of the meeting was the implementation of the ‘Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Employment & Livelihood Mission’ (Rural), known as the ‘VB-G Ram Ji’ scheme. The Chief Minister directed the relevant departments to complete all necessary preparations for the statewide launch of this mission, scheduled for July 1, 2026. He stated that this mission will serve as a cornerstone in realizing the vision of a ‘Developed Rajasthan-2047’.

Emphasis on Continuous Monitoring

The Chief Minister directed that the progress of all departments participating in the service camps must be monitored continuously. The state government aims to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person in the queue through these camps. The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, along with senior officials from the Urban Development, Local Self-Government, Revenue, and Rural Development & Panchayati Raj departments, who discussed finalizing the roadmap for the mission’s execution.

Conclusion: This meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, underscores the Rajasthan government’s commitment to good governance and transparent administration. The launch of the ‘VB-G Ram Ji’ mission on July 1, coupled with strict directives for the resolution of pending revenue cases, demonstrates the government’s serious resolve toward the state’s comprehensive development and the timely resolution of public grievances.
