In a unique blend of civic duty and cooperative spirit, the Rajasthan Institute of Cooperative Education and Management (RICEM) organized a grand ‘Swachhta Marathon’ in Jaipur on Saturday morning. Centered around the theme ‘Swachh Sahakar Samriddh Sahakar’ (Clean Cooperative, Prosperous Cooperative), the event aimed to raise mass awareness about hygiene and collaborative values, inspiring citizens to adopt these principles in their daily lives.

The marathon officially commenced at 6:30 AM from the city’s iconic Jawahar Circle and culminated at the Saras Sankul (RCDF) premises. The energy and zeal of the participants were palpable despite the early hours. As they ran along the designated route, the officers and staff members actively spread a positive message of collective unity, environmental cleanliness, and public health to the onlookers and local residents.

73 Newly Appointed Officers Set an Example

A major highlight of this special event was the active participation of 73 newly appointed trainee officers from various departments of the Rajasthan State Service, including Cooperatives, Prisons, Labour Welfare, and Industries. They joined the marathon as part of their co-curricular training activities. The run was spearheaded by RICEM Director Sanjay Pathak. Under his expert guidance, the institute’s officials, employees, and RCDF staff also showed their active involvement in the social cause.

‘Cleanliness and Cooperation are the Foundations of Development’

During the concluding ceremony, senior administrative officials addressed the newly inducted trainees, offering them valuable guidance for their future roles. They emphasized that the officers must make discipline, hygiene, and cooperative values an integral part of their professional and personal lives throughout their service tenure. The officials reiterated that a clean environment and a collaborative mindset are the fundamental pillars for the holistic development, prosperity, and well-being of any society.
