Currently, there has been no official announcement from the government regarding the release date of the 23rd installment of PM-KISAN. However, looking at the trends of previous years, the next installment of the scheme is likely to be released between the end of June and the first week of August. Beneficiaries are advised not to pay attention to rumors and to keep track of information only on the official portal.
Important Steps to Ensure Your Installment
If you want to receive your next ₹2000 installment without interruption, ensure you complete the following procedures:
- e-KYC: e-KYC is mandatory on the PM-KISAN portal. You can complete this online (via Aadhaar OTP) or by visiting your nearest Common Service Center (CSC).
- Aadhaar-Bank Linking: Ensure that your bank account is linked to your Aadhaar. Do not forget to visit your bank and activate the DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) mode.
- Verification of Details: Carefully check your Aadhaar card, bank account details, and the name and IFSC code entered on the portal. If there is any discrepancy, get it corrected immediately.
How to Check Your Status (Step-by-Step)
- First, visit the official website at pmkisan.gov.in.
- Go to the ‘Farmers Corner’ section and click on ‘Know Your Status’.
- Enter your registration number and the captcha code.
- Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click on ‘Get Data’.
- Here, you can view your payment history, installment status, and e-KYC status.
Special Note: Farmers whose 22nd installment was stuck due to technical reasons need not worry. If you rectify your technical errors, it is likely that your previous pending installment will be released along with the 23rd installment.
