Jaipur, June 24: Rajasthan’s Water Resources Minister, Suresh Singh Rawat, visited the ‘Aviana Aviation Academy’ located at the Kishangarh Airport premises on Wednesday. During his visit, he engaged in a direct dialogue with the young cadets undergoing flight training and wished them a bright future. The minister remarked that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a new sky of opportunities has opened up for the youth of the country.

In his address, Shri Rawat stated that today’s youth are not only playing an active role in nation-building but are also capable of providing a new vision and direction to the world. Highlighting the historic development works that have taken place in the country over the last 12 years, he mentioned that the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, is ensuring that the direct benefits of these development schemes reach the common man.

Career Opportunities in the Aviation Sector

The Water Resources Minister explained that the primary objective of his visit was to create awareness among the youth of the state about modern and challenging careers such as an ‘Aircraft Pilot’. The establishment of Kishangarh Airport has opened new avenues of employment at the local level. It has strengthened the connectivity of not just local entrepreneurs but also the youth, providing them with extensive opportunities that were previously unavailable.

The minister expressed confidence that in the coming times, Kishangarh Airport will be counted among the largest and major airports in Rajasthan. During the interaction, the trainee pilots enthusiastically echoed that Prime Minister Modi has taken several significant steps for the upliftment of the youth over the last 12 years.

Experiencing the Cockpit and Flight Operations

During the tour, Minister Suresh Singh Rawat sat in the cockpit of an airplane to closely understand the technical nuances of flying. B.S. Meena, the Director of Kishangarh Airport, provided him with detailed information regarding the flight process, aircraft maintenance, and the functioning of Air Traffic Control (ATC).

150 Cadets Currently Undergoing Training

It is noteworthy that the Aviana Aviation Academy commenced its operations in July 2024. Currently, the academy’s fleet consists of 12 single-engine and one double-engine aircraft. At present, 150 cadets are undergoing rigorous flight training here. Moreover, 100 youths have already completed their training successfully from this institute and have shaped bright careers for themselves.
