A grand unveiling ceremony of the statue of Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was organized under the auspices of the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Vikas Samiti in Kerwawal village, adjacent to the Malakhera town in Rajasthan. Bharatpur Member of Parliament (MP) Sanjana Jatav graced this proud occasion as the chief guest. Spreading a strong message of social justice and equality, a mega blood donation camp was also hosted during the event, where 51 donors contributed to the noble cause, setting a new example of public service for the society.

The unveiling ceremony commenced with the guests and community members garlanding and offering floral tributes to the newly installed statue of Babasaheb. Addressing the massive gathering, the speakers shed detailed light on Dr. Ambedkar’s lifelong struggles for the rights of the deprived classes and his monumental role in drafting the Indian Constitution. All the dignitaries unanimously appealed to the youth to walk the path of education and social justice shown by him.

A Message of Humanity Through Blood Donation

The ceremony was not limited to just being an ideological platform; it also presented a unique example of community service. In the blood donation camp organized by the committee, 51 youths from the region enthusiastically donated blood, showcasing their commitment to humanity. Just a day prior to the unveiling, a massive ‘Bhim Jagran’ was also held in the village on Saturday night, which witnessed heavy participation from the local villagers.

Honoring Dignitaries and Public Representatives

This dignified ceremony was presided over by Moolchand Deegwal. The event witnessed the prominent presence of former MLA Jairam Jatav as the special guest, along with Azad Samaj Party State Vice President Advocate Naval Singh, Bhim Army State General Secretary Sahab Singh Aheria, State Secretary Sher Singh Baudh, and District President Ramniwas Barwada. Additionally, Ramkumar, Daulat Pradhan, Veervati Pradhan, Manish, and Sudhanshu Baudh marked their attendance. The committee members warmly welcomed and felicitated all the guests and public representatives seated on the stage.
