During the procession, a minor argument reportedly broke out between participants and some individuals. It is alleged that a group of individuals entered houses belonging to members of the Jatav community and attacked them using sticks and sharp weapons. Bulbul, a resident of Nagla Parshuram, arrived at the hospital on June 3 in a semi-conscious state, with her oxygen saturation dangerously low at 30%. Doctors diagnosed pulmonary edema caused by severe high blood pressure, making it impossible to transport her to another hospital.

Dr. Vaibhav Sharma (Gynecologist) and Dr. Arpit Singhal (Anesthesiologist) explained the high risk to the family and decided on immediate surgery. Within just 30 minutes, a full medical team including Dr. Priyanka Joshi, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Dr. Pallavi Sharma, Nursing Officers Umesh Sharma and Deependra Singh successfully delivered healthy twin boys.

Post-operation, the mother was shifted to R.B.M. Hospital ICU, where she was kept on a ventilator for 48 hours due to breathing issues. With consistent care from Dr. Sharma and his team, she regained consciousness and was later supported with oxygen therapy.

She was shifted back to the Women’s Hospital on June 7 and discharged with her healthy newborns on June 12.

Dr. Sharma praised the coordination and swift action by the medical staff, noting that referring the patient elsewhere could have been fatal. The hospital administration lauded the medical team’s dedication and life-saving response.
