Jaipur, Rajasthan : Congress leader Sachin Pilot arrived at Jaipur Central Jail this evening, where he attempted to meet NSUI Rajasthan President Vinod Jakhar. However, the jail administration denied him permission. Expressing displeasure over the administration’s attitude, Pilot stated that party MLAs had previously attempted to meet with Jakhar, but were also denied permission.
Sachin Pilot alleged that Jakhar had opposed the promotion of RSS ideology at Rajasthan University, leading to serious charges being leveled against him and his imprisonment. He stated that Jakhar and his associates were first taken to various police stations for 24 hours and later arrested and sent to jail.
Pilot said, “Vinod Jakhar and his associates are in high spirits. We all stand firmly with them. This is not just the arrest of a student leader, but an attempt to suppress the voice of democratic protest.”
