HINDAUN CITY / KARAULI: The Board of Revenue Rajasthan, Ajmer, has escalated its stance on a pending complaint filed against the Tehsildar of Hindaun City. Taking serious note of the delay in the administrative probe, the Board has issued a formal reminder letter to the District Collector of Karauli, directing the immediate submission of the preliminary investigation report.

Key Highlights of the Case:

Official Intervention: The Board of Revenue, Ajmer, has demanded an immediate inquiry report from the Karauli District Administration.

The Complaint: The case revolves around a formal grievance filed by a local resident against Tehsildar Mrs. Seema Baghel.

Unanswered Directives: Earlier instructions issued by the Board on May 7, 2026, requesting an action proposal, remained unaddressed, prompting the issuance of this recent reminder.

Background of the Complaint

According to the details available, Rajiv Kumar, son of Bhagwan Singh and a resident of Jatav Basti in Hindaun City, had submitted a formal complaint against Tehsildar Mrs. Seema Baghel. Acting on this grievance, the Board of Revenue had previously dispatched a letter (Reference No. 3271) dated May 7, 2026, instructing the district administration to conduct a preliminary inquiry into the facts stated by the complainant and forward a detailed report along with necessary action proposals.

The Delay and The Reminder Letter

As evident from the official document, the newly issued reminder letter notes that if the allegations against the concerned officer were proven true during the preliminary inquiry, a proposal for disciplinary action was supposed to be sent under the prevailing rules and circulars of the Department of Personnel. However, the Board has yet to receive the awaited investigation report or any related action proposal from the district level.

Addressing this delay, the Deputy Registrar (Inquiry) of the Board of Revenue Rajasthan, Ajmer, has strongly directed the District Collector of Karauli to complete the preliminary investigation without any further delay and dispatch the findings immediately.

Complainant Advised to Seek Updates Locally

Maintaining transparency in the process, a copy of this official correspondence has also been forwarded to the complainant, Rajiv Kumar. The Board has officially advised him to obtain further updates regarding the day-to-day progress of his complaint directly from the District Collector’s office in Karauli.

Following the active intervention by the Board of Revenue, all eyes are now firmly fixed on the district administration’s upcoming steps in this high-profile administrative matter.

NEW DELHI: Here is excellent news for candidates aspiring to teach in Kendriya Vidyalayas. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has launched a new, centralized online platform called the “KVS Samvida Sathi Portal” for the recruitment of contractual and temporary staff for the 2026-27 academic session. Through this portal, KVS is inviting applications for various teaching and non-teaching posts, including PGT, TGT, PRT, Computer Instructors, Counselors, and Sports Coaches across India.

Gone are the days when candidates had to visit individual school websites to find vacancies and fill out separate offline forms. Under this newly introduced system, applicants can create a single online profile to apply for walk-in interviews at multiple Kendriya Vidyalayas. Read on to explore the complete details regarding eligibility criteria, age limits, the selection process, and step-by-step application instructions.

Key Highlights of this News:

Centralized Portal: KVS introduces the ‘Samvida Sathi’ portal for hassle-free, single-profile registration for contractual hiring.

Multiple Job Roles: Vacancies are open for PGT, TGT, PRT, Special Educators, Counselors, and Computer Instructors.

Direct Selection: No written examinations will be conducted; selection is strictly based on walk-in interviews and document verification.

Application Mode: Interested candidates must register and apply online via the official portal at samvida-sathi.kvs.gov.in.

What is the KVS Samvida Sathi Portal and Its Benefits?

Previously, applicants had to track individual KV websites for contractual vacancy advertisements, making the process lengthy and tedious. To streamline this, the KVS IT Service Cell developed the ‘Samvida Sathi Portal’.

Major benefits include:

Single Profile Creation: Candidates only need to register and enter their educational and professional details once.

Ease of Application: Applicants can use this single profile to apply for contractual vacancies in up to three preferred Kendriya Vidyalayas.

Efficient Hiring for Schools: School administrations can quickly access the database of registered candidates and invite qualified individuals for walk-in interviews whenever a vacancy arises.

Age Limit and Eligibility Criteria

According to the official KVS guidelines, candidates applying for contractual teaching positions must be at least 18 years old. To accommodate experienced educators, the maximum age limit is capped at 65 years. Age relaxation for reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, and PwD) will be applicable as per standard government norms.

Educational Qualifications Required

The academic requirements vary depending on the specific post applied for:

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): A Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university with at least 50% marks, along with a B.Ed. degree.

Computer Instructor: Candidates must hold a B.Tech / BCA / MCA / PGDCA degree, or an equivalent qualification in Computer Science.

Selection Process: No Written Exam

The recruitment process for contractual staff is entirely transparent and direct. Candidates will not be required to clear any written examination.

On Sunday, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma convened a high-level review meeting at his residence to assess the preparations for the upcoming NEET Re-Exam scheduled for June 21, 2026. Emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy against malpractices, the CM directed police and administrative officials to ensure foolproof security, flawless coordination with the National Testing Agency (NTA), and strict compliance with the guidelines set by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

Key Highlights of this News

Massive Scale: The NEET Re-exam will be conducted on June 21 across 611 centers in 27 districts of Rajasthan.

Student Footfall: Over 2.09 lakh candidates are slated to appear, with the maximum centers located in Jaipur, Sikar, and Kota.

Zero Tolerance: CM Bhajanlal Sharma issues stern warnings of strict legal action against suspicious individuals and those spreading rumors.

On-Ground Monitoring: District Collectors and Superintendents of Police (SPs) mandated to physically inspect examination centers and ensure basic amenities.

Strict Security and ‘Zero Tolerance’ for Malpractice

To ensure a completely transparent and peaceful examination process, the Chief Minister instructed the administration to remain on high alert. He directed all District Collectors and SPs to personally visit and inspect the examination venues to plug any security loopholes. CM Sharma made it absolutely clear that swift and strict action must be taken against anyone attempting to compromise the integrity of the exam or found spreading misleading rumors on social media.

Focus on Candidate Convenience Amidst Heat

Keeping the prevailing severe weather conditions in mind, CM Sharma also prioritized the well-being of the aspiring doctors. He issued strict instructions to the local administration to ensure that essential facilities—particularly clean drinking water, adequate shaded waiting areas, and proper ventilation—are guaranteed at every examination center so that students do not face any hardships during the test.

Over 2 Lakh Candidates Across 27 Districts

During the briefing, senior officials informed the Chief Minister that approximately 2.09 lakh candidates will take the re-exam at 611 centers spread across 27 districts in the state. The capital city, Jaipur, will host the highest number of examination centers (106), followed closely by the state’s major educational coaching hubs: Sikar (102 centers) and Kota (92 centers).

Top Brass Attends the High-Level Meet

This crucial meeting saw the virtual participation of Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, Director General of Police (DGP) Rajeev Kumar Sharma, and the respective District Collectors and SPs via video conferencing. Meanwhile, senior officials, including ADG (Law and Order) Sanjay Agarwal and Principal Secretary (Medical & Health) Gayatri Rathore, were physically present at the Chief Minister’s Office to brief the CM on the ground realities.

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde inaugurated a grand sculpture exhibition in Jaipur to commemorate the 450th anniversary of Maharana Pratap’s historic victory at the Battle of Haldighati. While praising the magnificent artworks crafted by renowned sculptor Mahaveer Bharti, the Governor emphasized that India’s authentic history and the unparalleled valor of the Mewar region continue to serve as an eternal source of inspiration for future generations.

Key Highlights of this News

Exhibition Launch: A special sculpture exhibition was inaugurated in Jaipur to mark the 450th anniversary of the historic Haldighati victory.

Tribute to Valor: Governor Haribhau Bagde closely observed the lifelike statues, including Maharana Pratap mounted on an elephant, honoring the warriors of Mewar.

Bold Take on History: The Governor critically termed the ‘Akbarnama’ as mere “court history,” stating it deliberately omitted the bravery of true Indian warriors.

Legacy of Legends: The event celebrated the indomitable courage of historical figures like Bappa Rawal and Queen Kiran Kumari, recalling their fierce resistance against invaders.

Haldighati’s Battlefield Brought to Life

Organized at the special initiative of sculptor Mahaveer Bharti, the exhibition brilliantly captures the intensity of the Haldighati war and its legendary warriors through intricate clay and stone sculptures. After offering floral tributes to the statue of Maharana Pratap, Governor Bagde meticulously reviewed the artworks. Reflecting on the historic battle, he remarked that while Maharana Pratap stood fiercely on the battlefield, Akbar never dared to face him on the front lines. He added that the great history of our nation consistently fuels society with patriotic energy.

Call to Reject Distorted Narratives

During his address, Governor Bagde spoke candidly about the distortion of Indian history. He pointed out that the British strategically designed an education system and curriculum intended to alienate Indians from their cultural roots. Taking a strong stance on Mughal-era documentation, he dismissed the ‘Akbarnama’ as a fabricated ‘court history’ written solely to please rulers. He asserted that such biased texts deliberately concealed the extraordinary valor of Mewar’s brave men and women.

Remembering Bappa Rawal and Queen Kiran Kumari

Citing the glorious sagas of Mewar, the Governor recalled how Bappa Rawal relentlessly drove Arab invaders out of Indian territory. Highlighting a fascinating historical footprint, he noted that the place where Bappa Rawal’s army camped is known today as ‘Rawalpindi’. Furthermore, he recounted the bravery of Queen Kiran Kumari, who boldly attacked Akbar to protect her dignity. Governor Bagde thoughtfully added that if Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Maharana Pratap had belonged to the exact same era, India’s historical landscape would have been vastly different.

Over 100 Statues Installed Worldwide

The prestigious event was attended by prominent dignitaries, including Urban Development Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra, Rajasthan Finance Commission Chairman Dr. Arun Chaturvedi, and MLA Gopal Sharma. Sharing insights into his artistic journey, sculptor Mahaveer Bharti revealed that he has independently spearheaded the installation of more than 100 statues of Maharana Pratap across various locations in India and abroad.

Conducted under the supervision of DG (Traffic) Shri Anil Paliwal, the primary goal of this campaign is to ensure road safety and curb illegal vehicle modifications. Additional Director General of Police (Traffic), Dr. B.L. Meena, stated that the police radar is firmly locked on drivers who are openly defying Supreme Court orders by using tinted glasses, illegal sirens, and pressure horns to assert unwarranted influence.

Detailed Breakdown of the Action (Day 10)

Special police teams tightened the noose on thousands of vehicles for various rule violations:

Black Films (Tinted Glasses): Despite the clear Supreme Court ban, the highest number of challans—3,638—were issued to vehicles sporting black films on their windows.

Defective/Fake Number Plates: 2,450 vehicles were penalized for displaying number plates and registration marks that violated standard regulations.

Unauthorized Texts or Symbols: Strict action was taken against 1,373 vehicles found displaying caste names, official designations, or organization logos.

Illegal Modifications: 945 vehicles were identified and penalized for unauthorized structural alterations to their body or chassis.

Hooters and Beacons: Police cracked down on 800 vehicles equipped with unauthorized red-blue beacons, flashers, strobe lights, and hooters, which are often used to create a false sense of authority or panic.

Pressure Horns: To curb noise pollution, air and pressure horns from 497 vehicles were confiscated.

“No Exemptions for Flaunting Caste or Designations”

ADG Traffic Dr. B.L. Meena issued a stern warning, stating that displaying one’s caste, official post, or organization name on a vehicle to assert dominance is a direct violation of the law. He emphasized that absolutely no leniency will be shown to those using illegal number plates, black films, or hooters. He assured the public that this special drive by the Rajasthan Police will continue with even greater strictness in the coming days to ensure a smooth, disciplined, and safe traffic system across the state.
