The Rajasthan Excise Department has completed preparations for the allotment of remaining liquor shops for the year 2026-27. - Timing: The auction will commence at 11:00 AM and conclude at 4:00 PM (Minimum duration of 5 hours).

- Bid Increment: Bidders must increase the bid by a minimum of ₹10,000 or in multiples thereof.

- Mandatory SSO ID: Applicants must first create an SSO ID under the ‘Citizen Category’ on the Government of Rajasthan portal at sso.rajasthan.gov.in.

- Cluster Selection: Detailed information regarding district-wise clusters, application fees, and revised reserve prices is available on the portal.
Key Financial Rules and Deadlines
- Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): A 2% deposit of the minimum ‘Reserve Price’ is required for each cluster. Depending on the bid amount, an additional ‘Dynamic Earnest Money’ may also be applicable.
- Payment Deadline: To avoid technical glitches or banking delays, the department advises depositing the application fee and EMD by 11:59 PM tonight (May 14).
- Bidding Limit: According to the rules, a bidder cannot increase the bid by more than 10% over the previous bid or the reserve price in a single instance.
