Rajakhera (Dholpur): Frustrated with the reduced number of government buses, residents of Rajakhera submitted a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister through SDM Varsha Meena, under the leadership of BJP City Mandal President Satyam Gupta.

Earlier, Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) operated eight buses on the Rajakhera-Agra and Rajakhera-Dholpur routes. These routes were profitable due to heavy passenger load. However, only three buses are currently operating.

Satyam Gupta alleged that illegal vehicles like tempos, vans, and Eeco cabs are plying under police protection. He claimed that certain police agents collect monthly bribes from these illegal operators, affecting the viability of RSRTC services.

Furthermore, Gupta accused roadways drivers and conductors of allowing ticketless passengers, causing financial losses to the department.

The memorandum demands strict action against unauthorized vehicles and restoration of the earlier number of roadways buses to facilitate better transport for commuters and traders between Agra and Dholpur.
