Bundi/Nainwan, Rajasthan– Under the Panch Gaurav Yojana, the District Sports Training Center organized the “One District, One Sport Kabaddi” talent search competition to give a new identity to Kabaddi in the district. The Nainwan block-level event, “One District, One Sport Kabaddi,” was successfully held at the indoor stadium located at the Government Higher Secondary School.
More than 250 boys and girls from the area participated in the competition, showcasing their enthusiasm, agility, and teamwork. The indoor stadium was filled with the excitement of Kabaddi throughout the event. Fast raids, strong defense, and strategic play made the matches exciting. At the conclusion of the competition, the best-performing teams were honored with trophies. District Sports Officer Harshvardhan Singh stated that the talented players selected through the competition will receive further specialized training to enable them to perform better at the district, state, and national levels.
Guests boosted the players’ morale
The chief guest of the event was District Kabaddi Association President Akshay Hada. The event was presided over by Nainwan City Division President Anil Sharma. The special guest was Dei Mandal Vice President and Assembly Co-ordinator Mahesh Jangid.
After introducing themselves to the players, the guests said that traditional sports like Kabaddi are developing discipline, self-confidence, and leadership skills in today’s youth. They encouraged the selected players to practice regularly.
Team Dei topped the boys’ category, Kolahera won the girls’ category.
Team Dei performed exceptionally well in the boys’ category and secured first place. Team Bansoli came in second, and Team Jaitpur secured third. In the girls’ category, Team Kolahera performed brilliantly in all the matches and secured first place. Team Jaitpur came in second, and Team Dodi came in third.
