Indra Devi wife of Vasudev Devnani, passed away at SMS Hospital : Sad news has emerged regarding Rajasthan politics. Indra Devi, wife of State Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, passed away on Sunday at Sawai Mansingh (SMS) Hospital in Jaipur. She had reportedly been ill for the past few days and was undergoing treatment in the medical intensive care unit. She breathed her last during treatment.
The Devnani family has been deeply saddened by this incident, and an outpouring of grief has also spread across political circles. Several senior leaders, including the Chief Minister, have expressed their condolences.
A few days ago, Indra Devi suddenly fainted at home. Her family immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital, but when her condition worsened, she was admitted to the SMS Hospital Emergency. Medical examinations revealed asthma and other health problems.

Indra Devi was a retired school teacher and had been suffering from health issues for a long time. His family is originally from Ajmer. Vasudev Devnani was born in Ajmer in 1948 and married Indra Devi in 1974. They have a son and two daughters.
Vasudev Devnani is known as a powerful leader in state politics. He is an MLA from the Ajmer North Assembly seat and has been serving as the Speaker of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly since 2023.Indra Devi’s passing has mourned not only the Devnani family, but also the entire Ajmer and BJP workers.
