Karauli, Rajasthan : Panic gripped the Government District Hospital in the city on Friday when a massive fire suddenly broke out in the oxygen gas plant located inside the hospital premises. Within moments, thick smoke spread across the entire Premises, creating chaos among admitted patients, their families, and hospital staff.
As the situation worsened, several patients came out of their wards, while family members quickly began shifting them to safer locations. For some time, the hospital premises witnessed scenes of panic, shouting, and people rushing for safety.
As soon as information about the incident was received, teams from the fire department and police reached the spot. Firefighters immediately began efforts to bring the blaze under control, while police personnel helped move people to safe areas and managed the situation. After continuous efforts, the fire was finally brought under control.
At present, the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined. The administration has started an investigation into the incident.
