Darbhanga, Bihar: In a swift legal intervention, the Darbhanga police have arrested a youth for allegedly making offensive and derogatory remarks against the architect of the Indian Constitution, Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. The incident, which originated in the Ghanshyampur police station area, has caused significant tension in the locality.

The arrest follows the widespread circulation of a video on social media platforms. In the footage, a youth was seen wearing a traditional headgear (muretha), holding an idol of Dr. Ambedkar in one hand, and using highly objectionable and inflammatory language against the national icon. Police Investigation and Arrest
Upon receiving information about the digital content, the Ghanshyampur police, under the leadership of Biroul SDPO Prabhakar Tiwari and Station House Officer (SHO) Alok Kumar, initiated a technical investigation to trace the culprit.
- Identification: The accused has been identified as Raja Kumar Singh, son of Pawan Kumar Singh, a resident of Punhad village.
