7-Day Deadline to Clear Long-Pending Grievances

Addressing the district and block-level officers, the Collector emphasized that citizens should not be forced to make unnecessary visits to government offices. He issued the following strict directives:

• Strict Timeline: Grievances pending on the Rajasthan Sampark Portal for 90 to 180 days, as well as cases forwarded by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Divisional Office, and the Human Rights Commission, must be resolved within 7 days.
• Focus on Quality Redressal: Officers were directed to improve the actual satisfaction level of the complainants rather than just disposing of files on paper.
• Focus Departments: Officials from JVVNL (Electricity), PHED (Water Supply), DSO (Civil Supplies), and the Social Justice & Empowerment Department were specifically told to reduce their average response time and improve public satisfaction.

60 Grievances Received; Immediate Relief Rendered

A total of 60 public grievances related to various departments were registered during the public hearing. The complaints covered a wide range of issues, including encroachment removal, National Food Security Act (NFSA) enrollment, farm pond subsidies, bridge construction, road widening, drinking water supply, and pending municipal bills.

With Superintendent of Police (SP) Lokesh Sonwal present, Collector Godara reviewed the cases dynamically, providing immediate relief to several aggrieved citizens on the spot.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Collector Hemraj Paridwal, Chief Executive Officer Lakhan Singh, and other district-level heads, while block-level officers joined the session via video conferencing (VC).
