Bhajan Lal Sharma visited Churada village in the tribal region of Banswara district on Thursday morning, where he interacted directly with villagers and reviewed local issues during a public outreach program. After holding a night chaupal in the village, the Chief Minister walked through the narrow village lanes, speaking with residents and understanding their concerns firsthand.

During the interaction, the Chief Minister said the Rajasthan Government is working to fulfill the vision of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s Antyodaya philosophy by ensuring that development and welfare schemes reach the last person in society. He described Gram Vikas Chaupal as an effective platform for direct communication and problem-solving at the grassroots level.

Chaupal Held Under a Peepal Tree

While touring the village, the Chief Minister held a chaupal under a Peepal tree where villagers shared concerns related to water supply, irrigation, and local infrastructure. Taking immediate note of these issues, he instructed district officials to work on the construction of an anicut on the Hiran River and improve drinking water sources in the area.

The Chief Minister also visited a Maa Bari Center, interacted with children, and distributed chocolates among them. He encouraged students to focus on education and work towards building a brighter future. He also appealed to villagers to keep young people away from substance abuse and ensure proper education for children.

Immediate Action on Financial Irregularity Complaint

During the program, complaints regarding alleged financial irregularities against Kushalgarh Block Chief Medical Officer Dr. Girish Bhabhor were brought to the Chief Minister’s attention. Taking the matter seriously, he directed officials to initiate immediate action. Following the instructions, the medical department placed Dr. Bhabhor under APO status without delay.

Focus on Water Conservation and Modern Farming

The Chief Minister emphasized that water has no alternative and every drop must be used wisely. He urged farmers to adopt micro-irrigation, rainwater harvesting, pond construction, and diversified farming techniques to improve productivity and income.

He also encouraged farmers to combine agriculture with animal husbandry to strengthen their financial condition. Referring to successful community-led water conservation efforts in the Dungarpur region, he called upon villagers to turn water conservation into a public movement.

Development Projects Approved on the Spot

During a tea discussion with villagers, the Chief Minister approved several local development projects immediately. These included ₹16.20 lakh for the construction of a Maa Bari Center in Thummath village, ₹20 lakh for a single-phase tubewell at Thummath crossroads, and ₹7 lakh for interlocking and beautification work at the Mama Baleshwar Dayal temple complex in Churada village.

He also directed officials to construct two additional classrooms in the government school and establish a milk collection center near the village.

In another humanitarian gesture, the Chief Minister responded to a request from a family whose child is suffering from cerebral palsy. He instructed officials to transfer assistant engineer Hemant Kumar Kalal to Banswara considering the family’s situation.

Earlier, the Chief Minister paid floral tribute to the statue of Saint Mama Baleshwar Dayal. The event was attended by Babulal Kharadi, Hemant Meena, and Gautam Kumar Dak along with local representatives and villagers.

JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha is entering its 75th year of a glorious parliamentary journey. To commemorate this historic milestone, the state government has outlined a roadmap for year-long celebrations under the ‘Amrit Mahotsav’. During a meeting of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (Rajasthan Branch) executive committee, chaired by Speaker Vasudev Devnani, the framework for four major national-level events was finalized.

Invitation to National Leadership

Speaker Vasudev Devnani stated that these celebrations would serve as a tribute to the spirit of Indian parliamentary democracy. Reflecting the significance of the occasion, the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Lok Sabha Speaker will be invited to grace the events. The programs will feature special sessions with constitutional and parliamentary experts, focusing on connecting the history, present, and future of democracy.

The Four Pillars of Amrit Mahotsav:

Grand Conference of Former and Current Legislators (July): The first event in July will bring together members of the 1st to 16th Vidhan Sabhas on a single platform. The conference will review historical legislation, transformative social decisions, and parliamentary traditions. Former Speakers, Deputy Speakers, and senior-most members will be honored for their contributions to the dignity of the House and the state’s digital legislative transformation.

National Conference of Women Legislators (October): The second program, dedicated to women, is scheduled for October. Women legislators from across the country will participate to deliberate on policy-making, the evolving role of women in administration, and the aspirations of young female representatives.

Youth Parliament and Constitutional Awareness (January): To bridge the gap between youth and democratic roots, a special event will be held in January. Selected students from schools and universities will participate in a ‘Youth Parliament’ and receive training in parliamentary decorum and constitutional awareness.

All-India Legislative Mahakumbh (March 2027): The Amrit Mahotsav will conclude with a grand ‘All-India Legislative Mahakumbh’ scheduled for Rajasthan Diwas 2027. This summit will host legislative leadership from across the country, including Speakers, Deputy Speakers, and Secretaries of various state legislatures, to discuss the future of the Indian legislative system.

A Confluence of Tradition and Innovation

Speaker Devnani emphasized that this festival would be a confluence of experience, tradition, and innovation. The meeting was attended by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully, Assembly Principal Secretary Bharat Bhushan Sharma, and other senior members of the executive committee.

New Delhi/Jaipur | State Bureau

In a significant move toward administrative austerity, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced a series of special directives on Wednesday aimed at fuel conservation and the efficient use of state resources. Following an appeal by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding national interest and sustainability, the Chief Minister has implemented these changes starting with his own official entourage.

Reduction in Convoy Fleet

Speaking to the media in New Delhi, the Chief Minister emphasized that “fuel conservation in the national interest” should be a collective responsibility rather than just a slogan. He announced the following measures:

Leading by Example: The number of vehicles in the Chief Minister’s own convoy has been reduced with immediate effect.

Directives for Public Representatives: All state ministers, MLAs, and other public representatives have been urged to limit the number of vehicles in their respective convoys.

Curbing Unnecessary Usage: Government officials have been strictly instructed to ensure that state vehicles are utilized only for essential official duties.

Streamlining Government Programs

To further control fuel consumption, the Chief Minister suggested a strategic reduction in the frequency of physical events and official programs. He advised that meetings and events should be consolidated or optimized to prevent the unnecessary expenditure of petrol and diesel.

Expert Analysis: Governance through Austerity

Political analysts view this decision as a strategic effort by the Rajasthan government to diminish ‘VVIP culture’ and promote a message of ‘simplicity’ among the public. Beyond the immediate financial savings for the state exchequer, this move serves as an administrative benchmark for reducing carbon emissions and promoting environmental consciousness.

Key Takeaways:

New guidelines issued for fuel conservation across Rajasthan.

Chief Minister voluntarily reduces the size of his official convoy.

Officials directed to exercise maximum austerity in vehicle usage.

The case involving senior IPS officer Kishan Sahay Meena has sparked a wider debate in Rajasthan after an FIR was registered on serious charges and the state government placed him under APO (Awaiting Posting Order). Amid the ongoing developments, Dausa MLA D.C. Bairwa has issued a detailed statement, raising concerns over the fairness and due process followed in the matter.

What is the case about?

An FIR has been registered at Malviya Nagar police station in Jaipur based on a complaint filed by a woman through the court. The complaint includes allegations of rape, assault, and criminal intimidation.

According to the complainant, she was allegedly called to a government residence under the pretext of marriage and was subjected to force. She further alleged physical assault and threats when she resisted. The complaint was reportedly sent via post from another state citing security concerns.

Following the seriousness of the allegations, the state government took immediate action and placed the officer under APO. The investigation is currently underway.

Officer’s response

Kishan Sahay Meena has denied all allegations, calling them a conspiracy. He stated that he is being deliberately framed and expressed confidence that the truth will emerge through a fair and impartial investigation.

D.C. Bairwa’s statement

MLA D.C. Bairwa questioned the procedural fairness in this case and expressed concern over what he termed as “hasty administrative action.”

He stated that initiating an FIR and placing a senior officer under APO solely on the basis of a complaint—reportedly sent via post—without a thorough preliminary verification raises serious concerns about administrative neutrality.

Bairwa questioned whether the credibility of a reputed officer should be determined merely on the basis of a single complaint. He emphasized that treating someone as guilty before a proper investigation not only harms the individual’s reputation but also weakens institutional trust.

According to him, the image of any citizen or official should be based on evidence and verified facts, not assumptions or one-sided allegations.

Key demands raised

The MLA outlined three key demands:
➡️ A high-level, impartial investigation into the entire matter
➡️ Strict and fair action if allegations are proven
➡️ No portrayal of any individual as guilty before the completion of the investigation

He also urged the Rajasthan government to reconsider any rushed decisions and ensure both justice and dignity are upheld.

Bairwa reiterated, “The fundamental principle of justice is clear—first establish the truth, then take action.”

Conclusion

The case remains under investigation, with serious allegations on one side and denial from the accused on the other. At the same time, concerns raised by public representatives have added a new dimension to the debate on due process and administrative accountability. The final outcome will depend on the findings of the investigation and subsequent legal proceedings.

Disclaimer

This article is based on publicly available information, media reports, and statements from concerned individuals. The allegations mentioned are yet to be proven, and the matter is currently under investigation.

Vasundhara Raje is back in the headlines for the Anta by-election in Rajasthan. Supporters chanted slogans during the roadshow: "Our Chief Minister should be like Vasundhara Raje."

Vasundhara Raje’s charisma is once again being seen in Rajasthan politics. The BJP has launched a full-fledged campaign in the Anta assembly seat by-election, led by former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje herself. For the past five days, she has been conducting continuous public meetings and outreach campaigns in the Baran-Anta region.

Raje supporters’ passionate slogan echoed during the road show

During a road show in Mangrol, Vasundhara Raje’s supporters raised a slogan that completely heated up the atmosphere:

“What kind of Chief Minister should we have? She should be like Vasundhara Raje!”

The crowd was filled with enthusiasm, and people clapped in support. A video of this slogan is rapidly going viral on social media, where BJP workers are sharing it.

Raje working to ensure Morpal Suman’s victory

Vasundhara Raje is putting all her efforts into ensuring the victory of BJP candidate Morpal Suman this time. It is reported that Suman is considered very close to Vasundhara Raje, and this is why Raje has personally taken charge of the election campaign.

Vasundhara’s surprising moment in 2023

It is noteworthy that the BJP did not declare a Chief Ministerial candidate in the 2023 Assembly elections. The party contested the elections without a candidate and won a majority. Subsequently, when Defense Minister Rajnath Singh arrived at the legislative party meeting with a slip, everyone’s eyes were fixed on it. When the slip was opened, even Vasundhara Raje was surprised—it read “Bhajanlal Sharma,” a first-time MLA.

Bikaner: Rajasthan politics is once again in turmoil. Nagaur MP and Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) chief Hanuman Beniwal held a massive rally in Bikaner on Wednesday to mark his party’s seventh foundation day, where he unveiled his preparations for the upcoming 2028 assembly elections.

A message of “Now or Never”:

Hanuman Beniwal, with the slogan “Now or Never,” made clear his intentions at the rally, declaring his readiness to knock on the doors of power. In front of a crowd of millions, he conveyed to his supporters that the RLP is now fully prepared to become the third force in state politics.

Will the RLP become the third force in Rajasthan?

Many attempts have been made in the past to become the third force in Rajasthan politics, but none have been successful. Now, this could prove to be a decisive moment for Hanuman Beniwal. If he gains public support, it will be easy for the RLP to reach the key to power.

Dilip Chaudhary and Prabhati Lal Jat’s Major Joining:

Another significant development occurred on this occasion when senior Rajasthan Congress leader and farmer leader Dilip Chaudhary resigned from the Congress and announced his joining the RLP. Dilip Chaudhary, a former MLA from Jaitaran, was seen standing with Beniwal on the RLP platform.

In addition, former RAS officer Prabhati Lal Jat also joined the RLP. The induction of these two leaders is being seen as a major boost to the party.

Independent Candidate Umanshi Lamba Joins the RLP:

Umanshi Lamba, an independent candidate from Delhi University, joined the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) today. RLP supremo Hanuman Beniwal formally inducted her by presenting her with the party’s scarf. Party workers expressed their enthusiasm in support of Umanshi Lamba, stating that the new energy of the youth will strengthen the party.

RLP’s role in the 2028 elections:If the RLP gains strength in the upcoming elections, a new and dynamic leader could emerge in Rajasthan politics. However, if this experiment fails, the bottle of Rajasthan politics may remain empty again.

This move by Hanuman Beniwal demonstrates his confidence and full preparation for the upcoming 2028 assembly elections, and it remains to be seen how the public accepts the RLP.
