Early Life and Family Background

Radha Yadav was born on April 21, 2000, in a poor family in the Kandivali-Malad area of Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her father, Prabhu Yadav, was a milk vendor, and the family lived in a very modest financial condition. They resided in a small room behind a shop. Radha’s cricket journey began when her coach, Prashant Shelat, noticed her playing in a street and decided to train her. She started playing cricket at the age of just 13–14. Her passion and dedication to the game led her to the Baroda women’s cricket team, from where her career progressed further. Her outstanding performance in domestic cricket earned her a place in the national team.

Beginning of Cricket Career :

Radha Yadav began playing professional domestic cricket in 2015. Through hard work and performance, she was selected for the Indian team in February 2018 for the T20 International series against South Africa.

ODI Debut: March 14, 2021 vs South Africa Women

She made a strong impact with her bowling on her T20I debut and was later included in the Indian squad for the 2018 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup held in the West Indies. She was also part of the Indian team in the 2020 Women’s T20 World Cup held in Australia.
