Emphasizing the need for quality and punctuality in administrative work, the District Collector issued stern instructions to Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs). He mandated that strict, rule-bound action must be taken against any Patwari found guilty of negligence or submitting false reports. Furthermore, officials were directed to ensure the high-quality and time-bound compliance of all judicial orders.

Key Highlights and Directives from the Meeting:

• Handling 183(B) Disputes: The Collector directed that land disputes under Section 183(B) must be handled with utmost sensitivity. In cases where there is a potential threat to law and order, actions should be executed promptly with the assistance of the police force.
• Land Allotment for Healthcare: To bolster local health infrastructure, clear instructions were given to expedite land allotment proposals for Community Health Centers (CHC) and Primary Health Centers (PHC).
• Chambal Project & Silicosis Cases: Officials were tasked with quickly drafting and forwarding proposals related to the Chambal water project. Additionally, the fast-tracking of pending cases related to Silicosis victims was prioritized.
• Regular Public Hearings (Jansunwai): SDOs were instructed to conduct regular public hearings at the sub-divisional level to ensure that the grievances of the common people are resolved on the spot.

Comprehensive Review of Pending Revenue Matters

The meeting involved a meticulous discussion on various long-standing issues, including revenue litigations, tax recoveries, mutations (Namantaran), land demarcations (Seemankan), right-of-way disputes, mutual partition of accounts, and the correction of revenue records. The Collector also reviewed the progress on the removal of encroachments from government and pasture lands, the allotment of land to landless farmers, and proposals to upgrade new hamlets (Dhanis) to revenue villages. The status of pending cases in the Honorable Rajasthan High Court and the implementation of state budget announcements were also thoroughly assessed.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Collector Hemraj Paridwal, ACP Lekhraj Jatav, and SDO Premraj Meena in the Video Conferencing (VC) room, while other SDOs joined virtually.
