The protest began early in the morning from Cyber Tower in the Gomtinagar area, with participants chanting slogans and attempting to march toward the Chief Minister’s office to express their grievances. Police personnel stopped the procession at Lohia Path, and tensions rose as authorities tried to prevent further movement.

Videos circulating on social media showed clashes between police and employees, with some officers seen pulling protesting workers aside. Demonstrators also alleged that salary payments had been delayed for several months and that basic facilities and breaks were not being adequately provided during working hours.

Officials maintained that law and order had to be preserved, and while they acknowledged the employees’ concerns, they stated that discussions were needed to address the issues and find a resolution.
