Remembering Babasaheb’s Struggles and Ideals

The unveiling ceremony commenced with the guests and community members garlanding and offering floral tributes to the newly installed statue of Babasaheb. Addressing the massive gathering, the speakers shed detailed light on Dr. Ambedkar’s lifelong struggles for the rights of the deprived classes and his monumental role in drafting the Indian Constitution. All the dignitaries unanimously appealed to the youth to walk the path of education and social justice shown by him.

A Message of Humanity Through Blood Donation

The ceremony was not limited to just being an ideological platform; it also presented a unique example of community service. In the blood donation camp organized by the committee, 51 youths from the region enthusiastically donated blood, showcasing their commitment to humanity. Just a day prior to the unveiling, a massive ‘Bhim Jagran’ was also held in the village on Saturday night, which witnessed heavy participation from the local villagers.

Honoring Dignitaries and Public Representatives

This dignified ceremony was presided over by Moolchand Deegwal. The event witnessed the prominent presence of former MLA Jairam Jatav as the special guest, along with Azad Samaj Party State Vice President Advocate Naval Singh, Bhim Army State General Secretary Sahab Singh Aheria, State Secretary Sher Singh Baudh, and District President Ramniwas Barwada. Additionally, Ramkumar, Daulat Pradhan, Veervati Pradhan, Manish, and Sudhanshu Baudh marked their attendance. The committee members warmly welcomed and felicitated all the guests and public representatives seated on the stage.

A total of 270 patients were examined by specialist doctors from Park Hospital, Behror. Shri Ram Medical Institute, Behror, distributed free medicines to all patients.Mr. Lalit Yadav, MLA, Mundawar, was the chief guest at the event, while Mahant Shri Santdas Ji Maharaj, of Benami Ashram, Gandhinagar, presided over the event.

Ishwar Yadav (District Councilor, Ward 9), Bhimraj Yadav (District Councilor, Ward 7), Rajendra Netaji, Vikram, Social Worker, Shaitan Master, Phool Singh (PTI), Krishna Havildar, Rajendra Havildar, Ramutar (Sub-Inspector), Gangadatt Panch, Dayaram Panch, Dr. Deepak Yadav, Dr. Sumit Yadav, and many other dignitaries were present as special guests at the event.

The entire youth power of Gandhinagar played a significant role in making the event a success. Speakers described such health camps as extremely useful for rural areas.

The camp was inaugurated by Sub-Divisional Officer Hemraj Gurjar, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Pushpendra Gupta, Branch President Upendra Gupta, and philanthropist Manish Chaudhary. A two-minute silence was observed to pay tribute to the victims of the Ahmedabad plane crash.

Camp coordinator Mohit Mittal noted that despite intense heat, enthusiasm for blood donation was high. Mukta Agarwal was the first donor, and 12 people including Monika Chaudhary and Kanika Agarwal donated blood for the first time.

Out of the total, 43 units were collected by Jaipuria Hospital, Jaipur, while the District Hospital’s blood bank in Karauli collected 19 units. The main objective of the camp was to eliminate fear and misconceptions around blood donation.
