Two Major Innovations of the State Government: ‘Shri Krishna Bhog’ and ‘Atithi Mata’

1. Shri Krishna Bhog Yojana This innovation is proving to be immensely helpful in eradicating anemia and malnutrition among children. During the financial year 2025-26, 6,054,768 food plates (thalis) were served to children under this scheme.

2. Atithi Mata Concept Under this unique initiative, mothers and female guardians of school children are invited to the school. They not only inspect the cleanliness and distribution system of the food but also taste the meal themselves and record their written feedback on its taste and quality. Under this campaign, 5,519,810 mothers have visited schools to observe the mid-day meal system so far.
