Salman Khan

A brief moments of anxiety unfolded at Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s iconic residence, Galaxy Apartments, in Mumbai’s upscale Bandra neighborhood on Monday, after a snake was spotted on the premises.

The reptile was reportedly seen roaming around the lower compound of the apartment building. Taking immediate action, security personnel alerted local authorities and summoned an expert snake catcher to the location.

Swift Action Ensures Safe Rescue

A professional snake handler arrived promptly at the actor’s residence, where Salman Khan lives with his parents and siblings. Local police officials were also present at the scene to manage the situation.

With experienced precision, the snake catcher safely captured the reptile, carefully secured it inside a bag, and handed it over to wildlife authorities for a safe release into its natural habitat. Fortunately, no injuries or mishaps were reported during the entire operation.

Given that Galaxy Apartments is situated near the Bandra seaface, the proximity to coastal flora often leads to occasional sightings of stray wildlife in surrounding residential pockets.

This isn’t the actor’s first encounter with wildlife. Back in December 2021, Salman Khan made headlines after being bitten by a non-venomous snake at his farmhouse in Panvel. He required a six-hour hospitalization at the time but recovered completely after receiving timely medical care.

On the Work Front: Salman Khan Gears Up for ‘Maatrubhumi’

On the professional front, the Bollywood veteran is currently deeply involved in his upcoming war drama, Maatrubhumi (previously titled Battle of Galwan).

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the highly anticipated film features Chitrangada Singh as the female lead. The cinematic narrative centers around the intense geopolitical clash of June 15, 2020, in the Galwan Valley. Salman Khan will essay the role of Colonel Santosh Babu, leading the 16 Bihar Regiment along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Maatrubhumi is slated for a theatrical release on April 17.

Additionally, the actor is set to collaborate with Telugu producer Dil Raju for an untitled mega-project, which will be helmed by director Vamshi Paidipally.
