Sikar: Voluntary work done at Madhav Sagar Bada Talab, the heritage of historical Sikar.

Sikar, Rajasthan – Under the auspices of the Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides and the Sikar Municipal Council, a volunteer program was organized at the historic Madhav Sagar Big Pond, Sanwali Road, Sikar, under the leadership of Basant Kumar Lata, CO Scout, and Laxman Ram, Health Inspector, Sikar Municipal Council.

Devilal Jat, Secretary, Local Association, Sikar; Mohanlal Sukhadia, Rover Leader; Marudhar Open Rover Crew, District Headquarters, Sikar; Senior Rover Lakhan Bawriya;

Ranger Monica Jangid, Todi College, Laxmangarh; Sushil Kumar Kumawat, Kab Master, Vivekananda School, Dansaroli; Marudhar Open Rover Crew, District Headquarters, Sikar; Rovers from Khatu Naresh Open Rover Crew, Sikar; and sanitation workers from the Municipal Council participated in the volunteer work, removing remains of idols, polythene, paper waste, and mud from the pond.

On this occasion, Scout and Guide members appealed to the public that this pond is located at a very important location for Sikar’s tourism and is also historic; therefore, do not pollute it by throwing garbage or immersing any material in it.
