Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has announced a landmark real estate project in Dubai a luxury tower named “Shahrukhz” valued at an impressive Rs 4,000 crore. The 56 storey skyscraper, developed by Dubai based Danube Properties is set to stand on Sheikh Zayed Road one of the city’s most prestigious locations. This development marks a historic first as SRK becomes the first Bollywood actor to have a commercial tower bearing his name.
The project is designed with over 40 world class amenities including free clubs, outdoor lounges, gymnasiums and even a helipad, aiming to cater to residents and businesses with a touch of luxury and convenience. Spanning over 1 million square feet, the tower’s residential units are priced starting from around $460,000 (approximately Rs 4.2 crore) making it relatively affordable for individuals starting new lives in Dubai.
At the launch event held in Mumbai, SRK expressed deep pride and emotion saying, “If my mother were alive, she’d be very happy. Now whenever I come to Dubai with my kids, I will point to the building and say, ‘Look, it’s our dad’s building’. He also emphasized that while this honor is significant, it remains a symbol of inspiration for young people striving to make their mark in life.
The tower will feature an iconic statue of Shah Rukh Khan at its entrance, symbolizing his lasting legacy. Danube Properties highlighted that this naming agreement ensures the tower will carry SRK’s name for many generations, a unique and long lasting tribute to the actor’s influence beyond cinema.
Scheduled for completion by 2029, “Shahrukhz” represents not only a business venture for Shah Rukh Khan but also a milestone in bridging cinematic fame with global commercial real estate, symbolizing ambition and achievement on an international scale. This project reflects SRK’s vision of inspiring newcomers in Dubai, blending his celebrity stature with a meaningful contribution to urban development.
