Hindaun City, Karauli: During a surprise inspection conducted in response to complaints of irregularities and negligence in the execution of government work at the Hindaun Municipal Council, District Collector Akshay Godara found serious irregularities and suspended Senior Assistant Harimohan Jatav with immediate effect.
The District Collector stated that Harimohan Jatav was not taking timely and proper action on lease cases. Furthermore, many cases were unnecessarily pending for years, and the relevant files were not presented to the Commissioner or Administrator on time. Prima facie, this conduct was found to be indicative of indifference to government work, serious negligence in the discharge of departmental responsibilities, and administrative indiscipline. This also unnecessarily affected the work of the public.
He said that in view of the above circumstances, exercising the powers conferred under Rule 13 of the Rajasthan Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1958, a departmental inquiry has been instituted against Harimohan Jatav, Senior Assistant, Nagar Parishad Hindaun and he has been suspended with immediate effect.
