RPSC SI Exam 2021 Re-exam: Exam on Sept 20; Correction Window Opens May 16

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released a major update regarding the Sub-Inspector (SI) Recruitment Exam-2021. Following the cancellation of the previous exam due to irregularities, the commission has announced the new schedule and mandatory security protocols for candidates.

Re-exam Schedule & Eligibility

• Exam Date: The re-examination for SI and Platoon Commander positions will be held on September 20, 2026 (Sunday).
• Eligible Candidates: Only the 383,097 candidates who were marked present in both papers of the previously conducted written examination are eligible to appear.
• Terms & Conditions: Age limits, reservation categories, and educational qualifications will remain as per the original advertisement dated Feb 3, 2021, and the corrigendum dated June 7, 2021.

Edit Window & Data Migration (May 16 – May 30)

Candidates will have a limited window to update their application details:

1. Correction Period: From May 16 to May 30, 2026.
2. What can be updated: Registered mobile number, email ID, and correspondence address.
3. SSO ID Migration: If a candidate has changed their SSO ID, they can use the ‘Fetch Application Form’ option to transfer their old application data into their new profile.

Mandatory KYC and Live Photo

To enhance security and prevent impersonation, the commission has made the One-Time Registration (OTR) update compulsory:

• Mandatory Consent: Even if candidates do not need to make corrections, they must open their form in “Edit Mode” at least once.
• Biometrics & Identification: Candidates are required to provide explicit consent for the use of their live photo, signature, and thumb impression.
• OTP Verification: Applications will only be considered submitted after the final “Submit” button is clicked and the OTP received on the registered mobile number is entered.
