Dhanwar, Jharkhand : A serious incident of a life-threatening attack on PNA News reporter Chandrakant Srivastava has come to light in Jeetkundi, under the Parsan Outpost of Dhanwar police station area. The incident occurred when he was in the area for reporting purposes.
According to eyewitnesses, on January 27, 2026, three people—1. Mohd. Akram, son of Mohd. Mustaq, 2. Mohd. Fayyaz, son of Mohd. Siraj, and 3. Mohd. Musarraf, son of Mohd. Akbar—suddenly attacked him, causing panic in the area. Srivastava sustained serious injuries in the attack. He was taken for treatment with the help of local residents.
Chandrakant Srivastava is not only an active journalist but also runs a private school in the area and has been prominently raising issues of social concern. He has long been vocal against anti-people activities and has fearlessly advocated for the interests of the common people. The exact reasons behind the incident are not yet clear, but initially, the attack is believed to be linked to his impartial and fearless journalism.
